Please be aware that from the 12th of August 2024 there will be changes to the charges relating to Building Control applications.

Welcome to the East Sussex Building Control Partnership
East Sussex Building Control is a Partnership organisation of four local authorities, covering Eastbourne and Hastings Boroughs, and Rother and Wealden Districts.
By providing a shared service over multiple authorities, customers working across the region can utilise a single point of contact for Building Regulations queries and applications, and expect a greater degree of consistency in service.
We aim to work with and alongside property owners, architects, engineers, builders and developers to ensure compliance with the Building Regulations.

We will offer you advice and guidance from pre-submission through to completion via our highly knowledgeable team of surveyors and give a proactive, solution-led approach to any issues that might arise.
If you are a builder working with an architect we will make sure wherever we can that plans have been fully checked prior to a start on site, and if this is not possible we urge you to keep in regular contact with us to avoid any issues.
